Is situated in the Lepsa Funicular Point, with a surface of over 1 ha, and being offered by the Focsani FD. The establishment of the Large Carnivores Rehabilitation and Monitoring Centre started by acquiring and mounting the modular system of metallic fences and its duplication with electric fences. This allows the simultaneous housing of several animals (especially bears) and decreasing the utilised space according to the gravity of the wound. The building’s rehabilitation was made by teams from EPA Vrancea, LF ASD, with the support of the Focsani FD. On this occasion was realised the subdivision of the centre in housings and room for medical interventions, and the endowment with veterinary apparatus.
   In the Large Carnivores Rehabilitation and Monitoring Centre permanence is ensured, by the personnel of partnership institutions based on a scheme assuring the service of minimum two trained persons. The veterinary is also part of the team and is present in this centre.
